Terms of Use

- Who these terms are for. You use Data Lantern through your employer or organization (our customer). Our written agreement with your company governs the service. If these terms conflict with that agreement, the agreement wins.
- Your account.
- Use only your own sign-in, and keep it secure.
- Don't share access.
- Tell your administrator if you think your account has been misused.
- Acceptable use. Don't:
- try to access data or stores you haven't been given;
- probe, scan or disrupt the service;
- upload harmful files;
- copy the service's software or content except as the service allows.
- Confidentiality. The numbers in Data Lantern are your company's confidential information. Use them only for your company's business.
- Recommendations and Ask. Plays, estimates and Ask answers are computed from your company's data and are meant to support your decisions, not replace your judgment. Estimated amounts are projections, not guarantees. Check important figures before acting.
- The demo. The demo site uses made-up data, may be reset at any time, and is provided as-is for evaluation only.
- Availability and changes. We work to keep the service available and secure, and we may improve or change features. Service levels, if any, are in your company's agreement.
- Disclaimer and liability. Except as your company's agreement provides, the service is provided "as is", and Data Lantern LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
- Ending access. Your access ends when your company removes you or its subscription ends. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or threatens the service's security.
- Law. California law governs these terms.
